Where do I find the fricking rules on goalie protection

For high school or amateur soccer. My son is a goalie and was tackled again last night behind the play which as usual the mfers waived off. When is it ever legal to tackle the goalie in the box. I thought that was automatic yellow card. I know there was updated concussion protocol and added protection for goalies mandated by the national organization but here in South Alabama and I am sick of it

Whenever he is dribbling the ball. And when the keeper is going great for a 50-50 ball that he isn't diving for.

Not really.

What do you mean "tackled behind the play", what happened exactly?
ps - the short answer is there are no special rules protecting a GK. He has no more or less protection than any other player on the field. It's a dangerous position obviously.

lol, in theory. Goalies are ridiculously protected.

quote:Yea, he was asking where he could find written or printed rules specifically for a GK. They do get the benefit of the doubt generally speaking I agree. (not to say it's not a dangerous position, you definitely need some balls)

High school mean the ball was already kicked and the play was already 40 yards away when this little bitch from behind ran up and tackled him. I have no clue why as there was really no advantage in it but it was simply chicken shite. He was still in the box and threw his hands up and yelled what the hell ref? The side judge threw his hands up as in a foul they stopped play then they talked and waived it off. Crowd went nuts.
I know u are not allowed to grab a goalie in the box.

That has nothing to do with protecting a goalie and everything to do with a ref not wanting to call what he didn't see.

Kid ran over him again Tuesday bruised ribs. I should post the fricking videos. It's unreal. Someone is going to get seriously injured. Of course no card. I didn't even bitch because kid is football player and really didn't intend to do it, doesn't know better and profusely apologized and tried to help him up.
