I've owned an HTC, Samsung, and LG and none had really good battery life. I've found the two things that drain battery life most are having mobile data on, and screen brightness. I downloaded the app 'Juice Defender' and it has helped.

I charged my phone yesterday at 3 pm. I didn't even charge it all the way. Surfed TD, kept a ton of apps open, talked on GroupMe, went to the gym for about two hours and listened to Pandora. Woke up this morning and it was on 15%. I couldn't even remember where I placed my charger. Battery life is pretty good on this phone.
