It wasn't the mouth breathers; the ones that you detest so vigorously, making a huge deal about it initially. It was all the pro-gay,pro-left, and anti-conservative magazines, blogs, and video bloggers praising the ground breaking and earth shattering gay scene.
The "mouth breathers" were just tired of being forced to have politics and social issues thrown in their face at every turn, including a remake of a freaking Disney movie

This is the same group of people who got all riled up about someone's hand not being in the exact spot they wanted during the national anthem, or another choosing to kneel.
