Seen them 4 times:

1) Lollapalooza (Opiate) (never knew who they were; but bought their CD immediately after. They blew every band out of the water that day.
2) State Palace (Undertow) NOLA
3) UNO LA (Aenima)
4) Baton Rouge Civic Ctr (10000 days)

Never been disappointed in a disc nor a live show. Maynard brings it. He puts everything into it. Doesn't hurt having the best drummer in the biz either. Those were some religious experiences for me in my life.

Was that the one when he acted out the Buffalo Bob "would you frick me? I'd frick me?" on stage or when he was full body painted in half and half florescent paint? It's been too long, and my memory is crap

vocally yes, but he stopped bringing it ever since he started standing in the shadows at the back of the stage. As great as the sound and light show are, their live performances are missing the energy of him being the front man. I fully understand why he does this (he was furious when sycophant fanboys made APC all about him... and even many of them act cool by claiming APC is better than TOOL), but I don't agree with it. Without him at center stage playing the crowd (which he was great at), their shows are missing an important element.
