I love how we pretend that capitalism is perfect and that it doesn't produce a couple fat cats (relative to the rest of the population) who live it up while the rest of us pick up the crumbs. Yea that doesn't happen in a capitalistic environment.
So are you one that believes there is a limited amount of pie and if the fat cats have plenty, you can't have some too?
Their wealth doesn't prevent you from being wealthy as well.
Which system do you suppose makes more millionaires, capitalism or socialism?

This is pretty dumb 1) He's selling a property that his wife inherited to buy this. 2) as the article pointed out, he's still one of the poorest members of the senate. $600,000 is chump change for someone like Trump.

This is really old news - from September 2016 or so

Except your comparison is not correct. Instead, you should be comparing Bernie to the common man he pretends to be. And to that person, $600,000 a year is plenty rich.

Since when has he pretended to be a poor working class guy? You can't be well off and want gov't to have programs for those less fortunate?

He's the original hipster millennial. Had he not stumbled into politics, he'd likely be a 75 year old barista still living in his mom's basement.

Yep, and at his age, simply being intelligent with his money for years would make him wealthy.

If you are well off due to having a govt job, you are taking away from programs for the less fortunate

How does he only pay 13% in taxes?

Either one cost $600,000?

Ummm, I'll disagree. I work with three Bernie lovers. They hate people with money. They are always saying that rich people don't need all that money. It should be taken. The guys are all 40 year olds with at least Master's degrees too, so we're not talking about hippies in Portland.

Plus he was able to buy the house because his wife had some extra money after flipping a home she inherited from her parents.
She could've given her profit to BLM if she wanted true change.

Sanders, an outspoken advocate for the working class who spent his 2016 presidential primary campaign railing against income inequality, remains one of the poorer members of Congress, and his net worth is among the lowest in the Senate. His 2014 tax returns revealed that he and Jane made $205,617 that year, the bulk of which came from Sanders’s $174,000 Senate salary.
His wife only made about $30k? Divorce that lazy bitch!

So if he takes his salary he's a liar and screwing people over?

Scandanavian countries don't have many. Ask a working person from Belgium how they feel about a person on unemployment. I bet the word thief comes up.

Why is Trump relevant to this conversation? He's not a proclaimed socialist.
Also doesn't Barnie drive a pretty nice car or was that story a lie?
