Yeah it comes down to that. But he proved he can play great on the biggest stage two years in a row, and has shown to be a good QB.

If he can fix his footwork (one of the easier things to do as opposed to changing your throwing mechanics or getting a stronger arm), he'll be good if not great.

Watson ball velo was 49mph at the combine. The threshold for elite NFL QBs is 55mph.

Mahomes comparatively was at 60. A guy like Cody Kessler 55.

For context 2mph is the equivalent of 3ft net yardage gained/lossed on a 20yd throw over an equal time frame

Easy,

I pick the best pass rusher available and list him as RB/DE on the depth chart. Give the 300 pound freak athlete goal line carries.




otherwise D Watson, OJ Howard, or Mccafery
