Where exactly did you get that I am okay with these things?

He also has a problem with people saying "curse words" even though there is nothing in the Bible that says anything about "thou shalt not use the words shite, damn, arse, or frick".

This has more to do with teaching my children not to be trashy than it does with anything in the Bible. The Bible does teach against using profane language, but you are correct there is no list of terms. I have no problem with my children seeing these in films, though. They are aware that we don't use these terms because we aren't trashy people, and that it has nothing to do with our religious beliefs but more to do with behavior that society rejects. There are much better ways to get your point across. Cussing is for the lazy and the uneducated.

ETA: This is far different from not exposing them to activities that society is pushing for everyone to accept. I would like to hope people can see the difference, but there are apparently quite a few people in this thread who can not. /ETA

In all likelihood, he is a closeted homosexual who is also a super religious Jesus freak and because this stupid book of mythology says some very vague passages that people believe to be in reference to homosexuality, he has become a self loathing hypocrite who is damaging his kids far more than if he was just beating the shite out of them on a daily basis.

This is how children act when they don't have a real argument.

No, children believe in fairytales. Like the one you believe it about Jesus even though his "story" was stolen almost word for word from the Egyptian god Horus.

Generally when people have as big of a problem with homosexuality as you express that you do, it's because they are struggling with their own homosexual feelings. This is a known coping mechanism.
