I'm not sure what Patriots motivation to do that would be, but man their fans will melt hard as frick.
Yeah, 32 is something I've been harping on. It is a super valuable pick in the current CBA, because it has the lowest value in terms of salary slotting in the first round, has a 5th year option, and allows a team sitting at the top of the 2nd to move up and get a QB (giving them a cheap guy for 5 years).
I could see someone like the 49ers/Bears/Jets giving up a few picks just to move up ahead of Cleveland and secure a guy like Mahomes at the end of the 1st.
2nd/3rd/Mid Round next year. Saints would likely package 3rds to have 3 2nd round picks at that point.
