The reason Prosecutors are pissed isn't because ICE arresting defendants, its because they're also arresting witnesses.

This can torpedo a current case and definitely impedes future law enforcement efforts- it makes undocumented and their citizen friends and family less likely to report crimes and/or come forward as a witness after said crime is reported.

A defense lawyer worth their salt would use their being here illegally to discredit them as a witness..... as well as a prosecutor should do the same if they were a witness for the defense....

bullshite. We worked hand in hand with the prosecutors most of the time to tell them what we were doing. We never arrested a witness or victim. If the prosecutors asked us not to touch a mat wit, we didn't arrest them.

bullshite. If they're witnesses, hold them till their testimony is needed and them throw them back into Mexico. It happens all the time, that people are in jail and are still useful witnesses. That said...how many cases like that do you think there are?
