LOL. What a stupid narrative. Did you want Alleva to get in a bidding war with Texas and still be turned down in the end? How humiliating would that have been?
It's like being the bucktooth hillbilly and approaching the long legged beauty who already has decided who's taking her home. Herman wasn't coming to LSU after Texas entered the picture.
