Which sucks because it'd be such an easy city to bike if the drivers weren't assholes to cyclists. I used to bike to work from Mid city to downtown and it was a fast, easy commute except when drivers would blow by honking the horn less than three feet only to turn right a second later.
Baton Rouge needs a PSA campaign for bicycle education - both for cyclists and drivers. I don't deny that some cyclists give a bad rap for the ones that ride properly.

people who ride bikes down busy arse roads are idiots. Let's ride a 10 pound bike going 35 miles an hour slower than 1500+ lb vehicles just mere inches away! Genius I tell you!
Self preservation should kick in and say, hey, this is a stupid idea.
"But it's legal!"
So is walking inches away from a cliff. But that's stupid as frick too.
Darwinism at work.
