So in reality Obamacare is just another welfare program paid for by the working families of America. It's just wrapped up to look like "health insurance"!

Welfare, when done right, has an essential role in upward economic mobility.

If you think that welfare should be abolished and not just reformed then we'll never agree on healthcare because we have completely different views on the role of government. And that's ok, we can disagree.

I'm happy you left behind the I'm just a regular guy who thinks we should help the poor shtick. You are a big government guy! You profess that government is the most efficient economic system known to man.

But we can't "just disagree" when I have to PAY for your beliefs. You sir, are a shameless thief stealing from my family!

WOW!
Where to start?
No welfare program has worked in America for the 50+ years since the Great Society! According to the US Census family poverty has been about 10% decade after decade, while the economic power of the middle class declines.

50+ years of reform and trillions spent and the result is an essentially flat poverty rate, a yearly budget of $3,800,000,000,000.00 (3.8 Trillion dollars, 21% of the economy without counting the taxes of Obamacare payed to insurance companies, or $12,000 for every man, woman, and child), a national debt of 18,960,000,000,000.00 ($18.96 Trillion!). Middle Class income has declined almost 10% in the last decade and a half.

If someone somewhere is getting something for nothing, then somewhere someone is getting nothing for something! The middle class is getting hosed for your utopian fantasy welfare state.

Welfare, when done right

Welfare can never be done right for two main reasons, the nature of government and proven economic principles.

1) Nature of government. Governments are the most inefficient, unresponsive, and regressive economic systems created by man. The DMV despite over 100 years of experience, evolution of management techniques, and technology advancements is still crap. Veterans Administration hospitals were created in 1930. 87 years later they are still incredibly substandard! The failure of government is actually influenced by economics. A private enterprise employee must make money for their employers by providing superior good and services to the public. Their jobs, pay, and promotions are based on this. A government employee's jobs, pay, and promotions are based not on quality of services provided to the public, but how much some politician will increase their budget.

2) Economic principles:
A) Supply and demand:
a) When you increase the cost of a good or service you decrease the demand. Taxes increase the cost. Increasing taxes on income reduces income and lowers the incentive to work for pay. Increasing the cost of a worker decreases the number of workers demanded by employers. Both decrease taxes payed to and income for government.
b) When you decrease the cost you increase the demand. Subsidies decrease the cost. Welfare (a subsidy for not providing for yourself or family) increases the demand for free-shite and decreases the amount of money government has.
Therefore decreasing the income and take home pay reduces the demand and pay for the middle class. It also prevents tax revenue from rising proportional to expenses. Increasing welfare expenditures above revenue equals deficit spending and debt.

There is a finite limit to where debt can grow before a catastrophic collapse occurs. No force on earth can tweak welfare. It results in entitled, demanding, nonproductive, vote-slaves who live at the sufferance of workers until the collapse. It also results in pissed off tax payers who are tired of busting our arses so you can steal from our families.

Just realize that being called a deplorable by a shameless thief is not an insult, it's a badge of honor!

I'll meet your D.C. living arse at the polls and on the political boards on every opportunity.
