not going but if The Sadies were backing her would think of jumping on a plane to see that.

ill confess that I am not a HUGE fan (enjoy her but not in my heavy rotation or drop everything when she comes to town).... but am thrilled to be going to this show.

Saw her at the Mermaid Lounge probably in the late 90's on her tour to support Furnace Room Lullaby.
I'm pretty sure I fell in love with her that night.

was an excellent show --
PHJB started up with a great little set (about 45 mins)
quick changeover and Neko played about 20 songs plus a 3 song encore. was obvious that they were keenly aware of the intimate nature of the night and came across a little nervous even.
band sounded excellent. Neko sounded good but was using waaaaay too much reverb on the vocals. for that setting something a bit less processed would have gone a LONG way towards matching the intimacy of the room.
finished up with a jam with PHJB that really tied the night together. Very happy with the show.

nice summary ... was a great night indeed.

there were a few times when kellys vocals came through clean (hold on, for example) and it really highlighted what a difference that would have made. otherwise - excellent all around, and that was a minor annoyance, not a dealbreaker
