We've had mid and late round gems, but out top picks haven't been up to snuff. I guess it all comes out in the wash.

Go look at most top picks and you'll be shocked how wrong your assumption is.
And we've had far fewer late round gems than people think. We are about average there (going back to 96; if this was just Payton era we'd be higher).

Cameron Jordan, Mark Ingram, Vacarro, Cooks, Rankins looked good last year. No high pick in 2012. Am I missing something? Hell even Peat has found himself starting at both LG and LT with solid play. I mean you aren't gonna bat 100% but we haven't done bad with first picks.
