I think everybody on this board would rather keep the pick. Sadly, we don't call the shots.

Although, I hold out a tiny bit of hope that if they got the 3rd pick, they might keep it. Simply because it couldn't land you a PG13 or Butler the way the 1st or 2nd pick might. They might be in a spot where they are kinda forced to keep it. At least for a little while, like with Buddy.

If you can get Jimmy Butler for the 3rd pick, you kind of have to take that. He's 27, Cousin is 26, Jrue is 26 and Davis is 24. That's a lot of players hitting their prime at the same time. And a college player is no guarantee as far as being a good player.

We just need to make a coaching hire who can get them to play together. Maybe bring Pat Riley in as a consultant to hire the next coach.

I'd rather trade it if we can get someone in return that would help us win next season, or if it would help us move some of the dead weight off this roster (Asik and Ajinca in particular, but also potentially Hill & Moore). The exception would be if the next coach somehow finds a way to use any combination of the above.

Between the four of them, how many million is that per season?

Hill and Moore are marginally better than 10-day contract guys and look what we're paying them...
