re: How did your dogs die?

Sophomore year of HS our dog got diagnosed with kidney failure. Vet said we could delay the progression indefinitely with 3x/week subcutaneous injections, so my mother and I did that for a little over a year. Well, one day mom accidentally put the needle into a vein. The solution went to the dog's heart and killed him after about 2-3 minutes of seizing. It was pretty traumatic, but I was a badass 17 year old so I went up to my room and bawled like an infant.
