Yeah, a lot of soldiers and Marines are using the Nike sfb when available. Pretty much all SOCOM guys are using Salomon and Merrell hiking boots, which are more or less sneakers with an aggressive sole and ankle support.

I'll take a light, breathable, waterproof, nylon boot over solid leather erryday
