I wouldn't say they have much "taste" as much as they just bring some heat. I think they're about 10 times hotter than a jalapeno, for reference.
I saw someone posting about them in another crawfish thread, so I bought them to try them out. While tinkering with the recipe, just going to throw it all at it

Has anyone ever heard of putting ice cream salt/rock salt in their boil instead of just the regular salt containers?
Some old cajun told me he uses Chackbay and puts a 4lb box of the ice cream salt/rock salt in his batch.
I was like...wtf. That seems like a lot.
