Its been like this for years. Honestly its bullshite. ESPN just doesn't respect MLS.

meh yea a little bit, but don't expect anything near the quality you get on NBC for EPL matches.
shite I wouldn't be surprised if NBC starts using the Sky or BT 4K feed before ESPN actually decided to at least use an HD camera for MLS.
