Flying into Philly in a few weeks and have a few hours to kill. Was thinking Independence Hall and a Cheesesteak. Can I fit anything else in or is there anything better to see/do?

Look into getting tickets ahead of time for independence hall. National park service.

By far the worst major city I've ever visited

yeah Philly isnt my favorite city, however you can knock out most stuff in one day or in your case, half a day.
wife and I stayed there last year for a day and the good thing is most of the tourist stuff is right around each other and very easy to access.
Independence Hall
Liberty Bell
Ben Franklin grave
Also, if you have time and want to grab a bite, i highly recommend the Reading terminal. you can walk from all the above mentioned places, and its an awesome experience. its this massive food hall with over 100 vendors of anything and everything you can imagine. Plenty of great cheesesteak options too. Its a great experience

I havent been but if you are a fan of Impressionist art you might want to check out the Barnes Collection. Great documentary about it called, The Art of the Steal.

Thanks everyone. Seems like Independence Hall is the way to go.
