The only unforgivable to me is overcooked and mushy. Never had that from a friends boil. Have had it several times at restaurants.

Most of all don't skrimp on seasoning, 5# lemons, 5# onions, 1 Celery, 5-6 Garlics scored, Pile of Bay Leaves
