Which is weird, because they look like recycled PSP game cases.
you can't put it in a tiny 3ds case but you also can't put it in a big arse console case either...then it's all anyone would talk about. also needed to be unique since they're not going head to head with Microsoft and sony.

this is all just my own speculation

Brickseek shows 10+ in stock at the Walmart on Vets/Roosevelt in Metry. A few in stock at the Kenner location as well. Really tempted to get one to play Zelda, but I'd be paying $450+ to play that, then another $60 to play Mario at the end of the year. That'd pretty much be it unless they have multiple Mario/Zelda titles come out for the switch or a Metroid comes out. Plus I have 5 or 6 other PS4 games waiting for me once I finish Dishonored 2 (which is great). I'll wait a few years and get one when it's cheaper. Or get drunk and order one off of Amazon once it's in stock.

I guess that's what it is but even as a person who prefers to buy physical media over digital I also don't like for anything to be bigger than it needs to be. It's always driven me crazy that DVD, BluRays, and console games are in packaging that is too large for the disk. It's like after making the packaging just big enough to hold LPs, tapes, and CDs the media companies all the sudden decided everyone thought it would be great to take up more space than was needed to store media.

Besides the fact that it's annoying as frick to make room to store shite, it seems idiotic that they would waste money farting out more plastic than they need to.
