i think the odds of being in those places during the general time frame of those 2 events is a lot higher than being there when they happened. I guess you're right tho, you're so important god made sure to plan those events specifically so that you werent there. the rest of those people that did die weren't as important as the role you have to play in life

When I was just out of college I didn't have the money for rent one month. The guy I was working for just "couldn't pay". I prayed and the next morning I go out to my car that had been locked all night and there was an envelope with enough money to pay the rent. No one else had access to keys.
So yeah - that was pretty miraculous to me
