Link? Because I'm pretty sure trump ran with that rumor and was never able to back it up.
Obama's own grandmother said that he was born in Hawaii.

So how did Kenya make it into his bio on those book jackets and playbills if not from him? I think he was probably born in Hawaii but there's no doubt he claimed Kenyan birth when it suited him. And the longterm refusal to release a birth certificate was the same strategic racial division that he made his career on.

Funny to see all the birthers still clinging to their story

Do you dispute that he claimed Kenyan birth on book jackets and playbills? Maybe the publishers and/or printers just said, "He's black, must be from Kenya."

Obama's birth certificate is as fake as CNN news. He was born in Kenya and that fact will become public knowledge in time.

Breitbart, who brought the book jacket story to light, said in the exact same article that they thought he was born in the US.

So again, how did the Kenyan birth story make it onto the book jacket if it didn't come from him?

The editor said it was her mistake and that she never received any information given to them that would suggest Obama was born anywhere other than Hawaii.

Maybe now that TRUMP is President the truth about the Fake Birth Certificate will finally come out.
And while he is at it, he can reveal the truth about Rafael Cruz's involvement in the JFK assassination. I'm sure his sources at the National Enquirer can get to the bottom of both.

Ah, the always convenient typo defense. I take it you're going to pretend to believe that?

My other option is to cling to it as the only "evidence" of an insanely dumb conspiracy theory, so yea, I'll probably do that.

So why do you think Obama started those "rumors" back in the late 90's or so? What was his angle...street cred and free stuff? That would track his leftist peer groups motivations.

Dale, I'm pretty sure we've been over this. Walk away from the birther bullshite.

That^.
It's simply not plausible that this was never brought to his attention..just like it's not plausible that he would not have read what he paid his PR firm to write about him and immediately corrected it.

Two different issues. Why he wouldn't correct the information sheds insight into the type of person he is. If lies would benefit him...he's o.k. with lying.

It's not plausible that it was never a big enough deal to give a frick about, until it was, at which point it was corrected?
Posted on 2/26/17 at 11:47 am to TotesMcGotes
Just how do you think the editor made this "mistake"? Does she assume that all black people are born in Kenya?

I agree...a conspiracy theory started by Obama.

You're assuming that it was even on Obama's radar and that he felt the need to have it corrected ASAP. You're also looking at it through the lense of what this insanely lame argument has become, as opposed to what it was then, which was absolutely nothing.
