I was 1/2 block away on Carrollton. We were at a friend's house party on Toulouse and decided to go up to Carrollton instead of Orleans b/c no barricades on Carrollton. Some people from the party who went to Orleans were hit by the truck though. We don't know their condition. Hopefully everyone pulls through and is OK.

Damn, praying for the injured people. It's a shame an event like this has to be marred with a idiot drunk driver.
