i know 2 guys who killed construction workers while being drunk in their vehicles.

Not 1 did jailtime, except the night they were arrested. All bonded out in morning, and given probation

It's amazing how little time people who kill others in their vehicles while under the influence do, in jail, if that.

I always say, get drunk, and accidentally kill the person you want taken out. Instead of murder, ur looking at probation. Do it with a gun, murder, do it, while impaired, it's a freebie kill, probation sir.

It's just amazing, you do more time getting pulled over for a DWI, than you do killing some one while being drunk.

Maybe ur state is different, but it seems like Missouri courts just don't give a frick.

Yep. I think anyone driving drunk and injuring another person should be charged with attempted murder. You get behind the wheel of a vehicle while impaired seems premeditated to me.

I think you get any kind of DUI, 1 year in jail, no other option, and a stiff fine.

And yes, distracted driving can cause the same accidents and should be charged similar.
