He should be in jail for the rest of his life. He committed murder. Drunk driving sentences are way too lax in this country.

What if has been mentioned, alcohol actually played no factor in her death? Assume he was traveling down a road in control of the car within the posted speed limit, and she not checking for oncoming traffic steps out in front of him, the outcome would have been identical for a driver that had not been drinking. Un-avoidable accident for both drivers, should one get life in prison, and the other a pass?
