Considering the position he was put in, he has done a REMARKABLE job!

Not knowing if he would even get the permanent position and being able to maintain #7 recruiting class, keep the #1 defensive coordinator and hire #1 offensive coordinator hires for past two years (as rated by independent sources) - don't know the source, but did read it somewhere.

yeah, that is certainly a "sunny" evaluation of Da Coach O.
Aranda was already here on contract. He was extended, which is very good b/c Aranda is a top 5 DC and the biggest new name at that slot.
Canada appears to have been a 3rd or 4th choice, after O, in a HUGE bit of luck missed on his first choice, Kiffen.
Very good recruiting class , but Miles had a tip 5 class before he was fired. O held the class together, which is very good for a new coach, but the flip side is that he was already recruiting coordinator for that class. Moreover, Austin Thomas saved the class for Da Coach O by getting Phillips at the last moment and Jacoby Stevens.
The biggest test will be whether O has the organizational skills to convert this to wins.
Jury is still out.

What? He was already the recruiting coordinator and was left with a top 5 class.

Didn't we lose out on seven of the top ten players in the state? That's remarkable?

His offense put up 700 more yards than LSU did this year while playing one more game than LSU and while playing in a weaker defensive conference.

Lets wait until he faces some SEC defenses before we label him #1.
