Demonic activity? Because people raised their hands at the singing of GOD Bless America? What kind of pastor gets uncomfortable at people praising God during a rendition of God Bless America?

I'm not sure what kind of pastor gets uncomfortable with this, but he probably needs to brush up on his scripture.
