I've said from the minute the story came out, "Oh, if she took a seat he saved, he most likely was a huge a-hole to her. But I'll bet money he didn't say the N word."

That's all we have been saying(those who know him). Not defending his crotchety nature at the bar. Just his integrity as he is fair in his courtroom and, when at the bar, he distributes the wrath equally upon all patrons.
