The parity is simply because of the smaller roster numbers. A superstar has a greater impact in basketball than any other team sport and the easiest way to get a superstar is to have a top 1-3 pick and hit on a player. So naturally the only way to go up is to go down

Considering Superstars are pairing up it is more than 1. I know people point to Cleveland and say that it is James team. That is true but Love was a superstar before coming and Irving is becoming one IMO.
