That was my first. Would still have it if not for butt bone pain. Light, fast and a joy to paddle.

Ijust wanted to thank you for this post. I looked at the yak you linked up but it was too short for me. I have been looking for a 13 or 14' to go along with the 11' i already have for my girlfriend. I checked other yaks on Academy website and saw there was a Heritage Angler 14' that was on clearance for $148.48 and called around to all the local Academy stores inthe BR area. They all said they've been getting flooded with calls about this yak and that they had none but i had them check all stores in Louisiana and found one in Houma. Called up Houma store and the salesman went out to the boat yard and put his hands on the one they had left. Said he'd hold it for me for 24 hours. So,after work i took off for Houma dreading getting there and it would be gone or it wouldn't be the right model. I get there and sho nuff it's the 14'

Sitting in the bed of my truck right now as we speak.

Y'all check around your local Academy stores if you don't live in South Louisiana and see if they have any left.

They do this once or twice a year. Sometimes can get lucky and get one for less than 100 bucks mid year.
