Actually, it appears he's growing into more of a DE prospect. He participated in the LSU OL/DL camp last month and worked out as a DE. He reportedly looked solid, and nola.com ran a video clip of him in a drill where he made a nice, quick inside move and got past the o-linenam trying to block him. I read that he now weighs north of 270.

The kid is a freak athlete. Once he gets into a professional weight program he's going to explode. I think LSU and Bama offered on this fact alone thinking we will find a spot for this big buy.

I agree that I believe he's being recruited as a DE/LB type but he could probably play MLB and I would also build packages for the guy at QB on GL and short yardage situations. He could also play FB, TE or H back.

This guy is a weapon on offense so I would seriously consider finding a spot for him there. With this multiple offense we would have no one like him and could use him in many different ways. That's the pitch I would give him.

Imagine Big Mike Williams and Tory Carter in some kind of jumbo package together. He's great with the football in his hands and if you ask me LSU could use these type of guys to add some bulk or real toughness to our offense. We want teams to dread playing our offense as much as our defense. The way Auburn used Pettway last year. Send this guy running across the formation for a hand off or a fake then have Tory Carter pulling to take, fake or block. Bounce some heads for a few plays then put our fastest shifty guy in there like a CEH to burn them. BTW Clyde is going to surprise many people. He's going to be very hard to see, then grab, much less tackle. Kids going to tear it up. GT
