Russell Gage and Redemptorist were put into that district after they got dropped from 3A. Russell was already in high school at that point.
Nick Brosette, Tim Williams, and Brumfield all went to U-High, so that really doesn't count as Dunham's district either. They were recruited to go there from the local public schools strictly for sports(something no other school in the district was doing). On top of that, Tim was the only player to play in Dunham's district all 4 years. The rest of the players finished their high school careers playing 3A, which is where the school has belonged since 2011.
I'm not doubting that good players can come from small schools like Dunham, but you have to admit that the talent in that district is lacking. If Episcopal is consistently one of the top teams in the district, you can't really call it tough competition.
