What concerns me is that offer list. To me, it stinks of Bama making the offer to keep LSU from getting a good linebacker prospect. The Gumps have been known to offer kids that might help their SEC West opponents, then let them ride the bench while their 5-star prospects got playing time.

It could be bc he plays QB. I know he plays some defense for Dunham but not how much. Maybe there's just not enough film to go on

Actually, it appears he's growing into more of a DE prospect. He participated in the LSU OL/DL camp last month and worked out as a DE. He reportedly looked solid, and nola.com ran a video clip of him in a drill where he made a nice, quick inside move and got past the o-linenam trying to block him. I read that he now weighs north of 270.
