I'm gonna be honest.. there have been talks on Rockets forums over the years about trying to get Demarcus Cousins, and I was never on board with it.

He seems to be one of these "cancers" people talk about where I wouldn't want that drama on my team.

He was one of the few players who even though he's really talented I'm not sure I'd want on my team no matter what.

I mean he's really good so you hope things would change and it would work out, but chemistry issues would always scare the crap out of me if he was on my team.

sometimes when there's a mutual trust it gets better. Dwight has been a citizen in Atlanta while la/orlando/Houston would say otherwise.

He is a cancer. But sometimes you need cancer to have any shot at making San Antonio or Gsw sweat.

Only because he wasn't on a winning team.

Do you think people would talk of Draymond Green any differently if you swap him and put him in SAC the last 5 years? Of course not, he'd be a cancer that no one wants, and he'd act up way more than he does now due to the frustration of losing.

I agree with this. I watched Cousins tell his coach to STFU after he picked up his 3rd fall midway through the 2nd quarter when he was up here in Portland. He didn't want to be subbed out. He proceeded to offer no resistance on defense the rests of the way.

It was a great trade for the Pels cuz they didn't lose THAT much but when there was McCollum + picks for Cousins goingnaround in Portland, I wanted none of that.
