I swear half the posters here have never watched Clyde play a down of football.

He's already on the team in the form of David Ducre. All they need to do is turn him loose this year.

He is a bruiser but he is good for one year then gone, that literally does nothing for the future of our football team. We do need a bruiser in THIS class.

You must have never seen Williams play if you think that My son plays for Hahnville and I've seen him in person, and he's the truth. I'll admit I've never seen CEH in person, only highlights, and from what I've seen Idk who is better, but their not that far apart... and for what its worth he plays alot bigger than his size dictates, the kid is strong. I won't even go into his recieving abilty.

Edwards-Helaire will play in the NFL just like his big brother Guice. Kid already has an NFL body like Guice, but is just shorter. He runs like Sproles making people jump out their shoes trying to tackle him he's so damn quick. If the Saints are smart they'll take him in the near future.

That's fair like I said I like what I've seen on video of CEH, but if we're making NFL comparisons I can see Williams being a D.Jackson type... I didn't say it before but the kids hands are awesome, I've seen a lot of great catches from the kid, and like someone said earlier he would probably be seen in a jet sweep role anyway. I'm just sayiny the two are different players, but their talent levels are not that far apart. CEH game may be more power, but there aren't that mant 11th graders running a 4.2 like Williams. I'm telling you speed speed and more speed

yeah, he's fast, I hear ya, but the kid will need to bulk up, that's what folks are trying to say to you. No matter how fast you are, you won't last long in football at a buck sixty. I'm sure LSU would take him if he were 190 or 200.

Your probably right about the weight thing, but LSU has been to Hahnville a few times to talk to him, I actually think its more about his grades... if he adds too much weight he loses some speed. They could easily just use him as a reciever like Cal did with Desaun Jackson, they are about the same size... but my original point weight aside gain aside is that his talent and CEH talent are not that far apart, they are just two different players. At the end of the day it may not matter, I'm told he is a huge Dalvin Cook fan and has his eyes set on Florida State.

I coach defensive line for a team that played hahnville this past season. Won't say who because I want to keep my id from getting out Few things I noticed.

Williams is the real deal. He does everything. Run and catch, he's a weapon and a threat. His speed is unmatched. He can run through kids, but needs more weight for college ball

The LT for hahnville is a monster. 6'6" 300+ with good feet and pad level.

The C for hahnville is no joke either. Good god he's nasty.

Not sure if they're juniors or seniors, but I'm happy we aren't playing them again

Yeah, that's all I was trying to say is they are both special players williams and ceh, just different types.
The center was a senior he's gone, but the left tackle was a Jr, he was actually at the boys from the boot this weekend L.Dixon.

yeah, that kids massive as frick, 6'6" 320, moves good in my book and has a 3.1 GPA I think. I think he only holds and offer right now from Southern U. lol I don't know what LSU or Grimes is waiting on?? It like sometimes they're asleep at the wheel. lol

Seen it first hand. Not many weaknesses in his game. Does get a little overextended at times and sometimes plays a tad too high, but he's got good feet and a solid punch. I'd love to see him suiting up for LSU

I think part of it is an attitude thing, kid has serious mean streak, which is good, but I've seen him get into it with coaches. I think that played a part in him leaving Curtis... but they have been talking to him too. Really good athlete for his size, plays basketball for the school and AAU.

Kid had some serious issues with being coachable. If that changed, good for him. Definitely the type to pout when things got tough. Hope he's matured.
