we still have a season and a half to deal him, and it's almost certain that we will be able to get more for him than what we just gave up. this is a potential franchise-building deal either way that you slice it. don't fall victim to the Boom's or Crewz's of the forum shitting on the parade with their investigation into any potentially minute negative that is out there

EVEN if this experiment blows up this year and it's a huge fail, we have all offseason to dangle Boogie to a team like Boston to recoup a major haul of assets to build around AD. that's the "worst case" scenario and it's pretty legit moving forward

Not if it's near the deadline next season, no chance.

Worst case scenario is we secure the 8 seed this season, lose...and then it blows up during the season next year where we lose the leverage on trading Boogie.

If the Celtics wanted him, they could have easily topped our offer. Why would that change next year when he is an expiring deal?
