Where were all of y'all the other day when I was arguing that IF most of the victims were post-pubescent, then it's false and slanderous to say the Catholic Church had a big problem with pedophilia?

Wouldn't it make much more sense to believe the Church became populated with a higher proportion of gay Priests (higher than the proportion im the general population), and that they did what gays often do with 13-15 year old boys when given the opportunity?

Altar boys are usually young teenagers. Gays, either by design or coincidence, joined the Priesthood in large numbers since the 1960s and thereby gained unsupervised access to teenaged boys. They covered up for each other's diddling because in the gay community there is support for such activity. That's the narrative that makes sense.
