Also, it would benefit the Kings to get worse this year so they can keep their own pick. They can:
Keep Boogie and have no pick
or
Have Buddy, their own 2017 pick, NOLA's 2017 pick, and NOLA's 2019 pick.
If they are smart enough to look at it that way (doubtful), it could be a smart play for them

I haven't looked into it or thought about Tom's mindset. Any possible way we can trade for Boogie and re-sign Jrue?
