Exactly. In their youth they were totally self absorbed and hated every generation that came before them.
Just like Millineals, they refused to learn anything from past generations because those generations were beneath them. In short, the Boomers (just like Millineals) thought they didnt need to listen and learn from their elders because they already had it all figured out and they were going to fix the world.

Very alike in some ways, very different in others. Boomers grew up right after college, served in war (protestors aside), and valued hard work. Millennials have yet to grow up a decade after college and feel entitled to success even if they choose not to work hard.
The work culture differences are striking. Boomers get to work early and stay late to get ahead. Millennials are task oriented and will leave work early if they are done. They value personal time much more highly than previous generations.
