There's only so much interest you can have in another person. Doesn't mean you love them any less, you just know absolutely everything about that person and you want to be fascinated by someone again. It's human nature, I don't get why people act so surprised when it happens. I always think, damn I can't believe it took so long.

Perhaps, just depends on where you are on the Hetero homo scale. In openly sexual societies people are a lot more likely to experiment. Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, sumerians all famous for same sex experimentation.
