It actually does.
The average "conservative" today is nothing more than a big government liberal... just on the flip side of the their opposing party. Anyone who welcomes government intrusion into the private lives of it's citizens... they're no conservative.

The founder of libertarianism was a no government conservative who would probably have a cutout of Trump as well. Show some deference

Oy vey. It pains me that people think they can just casually redefine Libertarianism or Conservatism, because they are too ill-informed to define them correctly. No matter what you think Conservative and Libertarian are NOT the same thing. But go ahead and knock yourself out.
And for the record, the term you are looking for to describe yourself is likely "small l libertarian". If you use the term "Conservative" you are highly unlikely to be either an Objectivist or an anarcho-capitalist for instance. WFB and Murray Rothbard are not proponents of the same philosophy, similarities withstanding.

And just so you know, Movement Conservatism champions Constitutional government. Just very limited government. A "social" Conservative is likely to have an expanded view of government and the modern-day charlatan we see today (McCain) who calls himself a Conservative is just an establishment Republican.
I will withdraw the progressive comment. Your anti-Trump bed-wetting hysterical meltdowns are so similar, I'm sure you can understand the mistake.
