The funniest complement I ever got in New Orleans, was when I was drumming with the Wild Tchoupitoulas on Super Sunday a few years back. Some really ghetto guy came up and said "gotdamn, I didn't know white boyz could drum like that."

I just told him I was light skinned. Me being blond with blue eyes, everyone just laughed.
