Go hand and hand. The larger the mask, the more surface area it has to cover, the more likely you are to have a leak. Ask about nasal pillows. If you can't take those, ask about the WISP, which is built on the premise of nasal pillows, but it covers the tip of the nose instead of going into the nostrils. I tried and tried to use a Full Face and it just didn't work. I would rip it off every single night. I even tried one again last week, I get demos since I'm over a lab, and same result. As far as being a mouth breather, you can use a chin strap and a nasal mask with better results than a full face. Also, you typically need less pressure with a nasal mask due to the fact it's directly blowing into your nose instead of basically indirectly over a large area.
