That could help... wear it when you're awake for a little each day to help yourself get used to it. You may even want to try a different mask.
It could also have something to do with your pressure settings.

This is also a problem. You should either adjust the mask for a better fit or get a new mask that fits your face properly.
Also, do you have a CPAP that collects data? There's a program called Sleepy Head that you can use to see your sleep data if your machine records it. That can give you an idea of what's going on while you're sleeping.
