Thats a weak argument. Uber rich people don't care about the money for the utility of what it can buy. It's just the way they keep score.
Go back to the drawing board and come up with another counter because that one is weak.

Then why was it so hard for trump to separate from his business give it to his kids and move on? Why was he worried about the audit? Why was his wealth being the one thing they weren't allowed to discuss on his roast?
Answer is that he does care about how much money he has and what he's worth and he cares that people think he's as rich as he portrays.
