Bernie said that premiums were going up faster before the ACA. I think insurance companies have slowed premium increases in favor of higher deductibles.
I remember when things like prescriptions and routine visits weren't included in the deductible. The deductible was for things like diagnostic testing, hospital stays, and specialists. Not anymore. My prescription benefit doesn't kick in until I meet my $7K family deductible.
