I was having a hard time seeing how the Avengers could actually work until 2012 when it came out. Both MoS and BvS were box office disappointments. It's sinking.

Okay...but that still doesn't change the fact that the DCEU has made $2.3 billion in their first three films.
Get back to me at the end of the year when Wonder Woman and Justice League have both gone through their box office runs. Then we will talk about the status of the DCEU. As of right now, it's still too early to tell.

I think we can distinguish between bad movies and good box office takes. I'd like to be happy when I left the theater, but they are making money with these movies.
