Take out the High School Brooklyn team in the first game of the regional and Quinn hit .200 in the post season last year and lead us in errors. She hit .210 in the Supers and WCWS.
If you find yourself doling out the "take out XX player's best game and you'll see they sucked" argument you're in a bad spot really

No, the really bad spot is defending a player that is statistically the worst infielder offensively and defensively in the entire SEC because of the "LSU way" and she is able to signal to the other players. It's DJ Welter over Kendall Beckwith all over again.
But, I will end the debate and watch us underachieve at the position for the third year in a row. The staff obviously believes that having a Sr. at a certain position outweighs production. There is no rationale for this. You don't build programs with historically underachieving upper classmen. You don't develop superior freshman on the bench. As we have seen with Springfield, Doyle and somewhat with Andrews, when you give these multi talented players an opportunity they shine. Some are just destined to never get that opportunity it seems. It's good to be awesome in the circle, it can cover up some serious deficiencies.
